Combining the benefits of Plasma and Radiofrequency technology for tissue ablation and coagulation.
Harnessing the same physical principle that creates the northern lights, this system uses high-energy, low-temperature plasma at micrometer scale for precise tissue ablation for endoscopic spine surgeries. By limiting heat and thermal spread during ablation and coagulation, it helps protect delicate neural structures in confined surgical spaces.
Plasma
Breaks tissue down instantaneously to the atomic level, without generating heat. Tissue is dissolved in the saline solution or converted into safe gases (oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen and carbon dioxide) and flushed out with the irrigation flow.
Plasma is confined in a 100 µm layer at the active zone of the electrode and does not spread around.

Radiofrequencies
Output intensity is moderated in real time thanks to a thermo-sensor integrated in the electrodes (in-situ temperature maintained between 40 °C and 70 °C). Tissue is shrunk while burns are avoided.
Real-time heat autocontrol
Based on the feedback of the in-situ sensor in the electrode, and on the desired ablation and coagulation settings, the EnSight™ Plasma system automatically adjusts the radiofrequency output (power, voltage and waveform) as well as the mix proportion of plasma and radiofrequency.

Targeted ablation of inflamed paraspinal nerves provides rapid pain relief with minimal tissue trauma.
- The minimally invasive, trocar-based approach reduces scarring, accelerates healing and significantly lowers post-operative discomfort compared to open surgery.
Nucleoplasty – Spine FX System
Designed for cervical and lumbar disc herniation.
- Targeted plasma energy safely vaporises and shrinks the disc nucleus, decompressing the disc and relieving pressure on surrounding nerves and arteries – while keeping the outer disc wall (annulus) intact.
