As part of the EnSight™ Biportal Curriculum, Nexon conducted two full-day Interlaminar Approach for Unilateral Spinal Decompression trainings at Webers Hotel in Essen, Germany, on May 21 & 22, 2025. The trainings were delivered in collaboration with KOMID and designed specifically for a motivated group of German spine surgeons.

Each day was structured around a hands-on format with three stations for small groups. The sessions were facilitated by Dr. Mohamed Elmadaawy and Dr. Alexej Rüdiger, who guided participants through the procedural steps, key anatomical landmarks, instrumentation, and OR setup for biportal endoscopic surgery.

While Nexon’s training center is based in Oberkirch, Switzerland, we proudly extend training opportunities beyond the Swiss border- when the local drive to grow is strong. This course was organized in response to a direct request from a locally engaged and prepared surgical community.
